Sneak Preview: Cootie Coo Craziness 2014

October Cootie Coo Craziness will be here before you know it, so mark your calendar for October 9 - 13. Watch for our weekly sneak peeks of some of the classes that will be offered.

First sneak peek is of a French Country Graphic 45 card class. Everyone in the  class will make 3 cards. Below are 3 of the 5 cards participants can choose from...

Graphic 45 Mini Album

Another offering at Mini Cootie Coo Craziness weekend. Join Louise in creating a lovely Mini Album featuring the Graphic 45 Sweet Garden Collection. 

Learn the simple technique of making and binding this album using an Envelope Punch Board and glue. Embellish with coordinating Graphic 45 chipboard pieces. This mini features pockets, tags and flip flaps for expansion possibilities. You may add photos and journaling to this project. 

A great gift to share or something to keep for yourself and treasure for a long time! Don't miss out!!!

Cootie Coo Craziness Update

A few of the classes are almost full, but there are still several slots open (in numerous classes) if you have not yet registered. Registration for Cootie Coo Craziness will close on Wednesday, MARCH 26, so be sure to contact me by then if you would like to register for anything.

There are plenty of openings in the evening activities and many of you will regret NOT attending when you find out what all the participants received as giveaways! Friday evening is a PIZZA PARTY which includes 4 hours of fun Make N takes, great giveaways and prizes. The cost is $25. Saturday night is a wonderful buffet spread followed by three round-robin stations which will seem as if you are getting 3 classes in one. The giveaways and prizes here will set your feet a' dancing! The cost is $50.

T-shirts are in and participants have the choice of a pale pink, kiwi green, sandstone or calming blue "Doing the Coo" T. Just one week until the real fun begins!!

New Class for Cootie Coo Craziness

Just wanted to get a notification about the upcoming Cootie Coo Craziness Weekend, March 28 - 30. A new class has been added, FABRIC GARLAND, and it will be taught by Sandy Flaitz on Sunday, March 30, at the Woman's Club from 1:30pm - 5:00pm.

Endless Embellishments

Take your time creating unique flowers as embellishments, using gathered fabric, Beadazzles, Dylusions-sprayed fabric and Washi tape. Pretty impressive, don't you think?

AND

Create mini masterpieces as you discover the world of altered puzzle pieces! You may find it hard to leave this station, but there are other enticing projects waiting for you at "Endless Embellishments" at Cootie Coo Craziness on Saturday night, March 29, at the Woman's Club in High Springs, Florida.

Anniversary Celebration!

Five years of Cootie Coo Creations brought together food, fun and friends to celebrate the milestone!

December "Almost Free" Make 'n Take

Don't forget to call and register for December's "Almost Free" Make 'n Take. Reservations are required.

When: December 6 from 5-8 p.m. and December 7 from 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Where: Cootie Coo Creations
Cost: $2 per person donation to High Springs/Alachua Relay for Life AND one non-perishable food item for the Catholic Charities Food Bank.
Included: EVERYTHING -- all supplies are included

I just wanted to remind everyone that there are Almost FREE Make N Takes this weekend (October 4 & 5) at the usual times (Friday 5:00pm - 8:00pm or Saturday from 10:30am-1:30pm), but you must register in order to attend!

 A note about the Craziness Weekend: For those people who are registered for ANY of the classes during the Craziness Weekend, we have officially outgrown the space at the shop for the FREE Make N Takes on Thursday, October 10. The Make N Takes will be held at the High Springs New Century Woman's Club (three blocks down from the shop, on the same side of the street) from 5:00pm-9:00pm. T-shirts and goodie bags will be given out during that activity to all those who are participating in the Weekend!

The "Pizza, Prizes and Playtime" Activity on Sunday, October 13, from 5:30pm- 9:00pm at the Woman's Club, has now become one huge BIRTHDAY PARTY as well. We will be celebrating EVERYBODY'S birthday, so come prepared to feast on cake and get a birthday present in addition to everything else on the agenda (pizza, salad, frozen custard from SweetBerries of Gainesville, games, prizes galore and a rootin' tootin' good time!). There is still space if anyone else cares to join in the festivity!!! 

 Have a glorious week. I am SUPER busy trying to get the shop organized, new merchandise out, and all of my projects completed. Phew...this is CRAZINESS indeed, but I am looking forward to "Doing the Coo" really soon!!

Round Robin Tags & More

One of the many tags that can be made at the "Round Robin Tags & More" Activity on Saturday evening, October 12, at the Cootie Coo Craziness event! The Christmas tree is punched out of cork paper donated by Creative Impressions. What a fun product to work with...it can be torn, punched, painted and more. The possibilities are endless! Ribbon, Cream Pearls and star & tree brads also by Creative Impressions. White tag and Christmas oval paper by Bazzill Basics Paper. Oh, what fun it is...

FREE Make N Takes

This class is available to anyone who has registered for any of the classes or parties during the Craziness weekend, but registration is required.

Participants will make several cards and tags and utilize a variety of techniques.

Light refreshments will be served.
