 Guests will be treated to an afternoon tea, receive a goodie bag, be given one FREE chance drawing ticket and a craft project "to go" and several other chance drawings. 
 Hats and gloves are optional, however there will be a prize for the most original hat worn to the event. 
 Space is limited so reserve your place and make your donation (cash or check) today!

Whimsy Critter Canvas Workshop

A quick peek at Terry Peattie's WHIMSY CRITTER CANVAS Workshop at The Coo. Participants were able to choose a template for an animal (or draw their own), learn Terry's secret tricks and tips, work through numerous steps and end up with a finished product they all loved!! 

This class will be offered again on Saturday afternoon, November 4, but space is limited so hurry and register if you are interested!

Smashing Good Time!

Celeste Beck conducted a "smashing" Smash Book Workshop this month - everyone made an armload of Halloween bag books and had an eerily fun and somewhat spooky time - bwahaha!

Fundraiser at Smoke Fried

Alachua/High Springs Relay for Life Fundraiser!! Everyone is invited to "eat and help save lives" at Smoke/Fried in High Springs on Thursday, October 26, 2017. The fundraiser will run from 11:00am - 8:00pm and Smoke/Fried will donate 10% of the proceeds from the day to the Alachua/High Springs Relay for Life event. 

Come and out and support the team of your choosing. Teams will "earn" a portion of the donation (based on participation) that will be counted as a team donation. What a wonderful way to come together as communities and help fund a cure! 

Contact Sharon Kantor at 386-454-8008 if you have any questions. If you would like to register yourself or a team, simply go to www.relayforlife.org and follow the prompts. Do this by October 25 and your team will be included in the fundraiser! 

October Fun: Relay for Life Fundraiser

On Friday, October 27, there will be a Halloween-themed Relay for Life fundraiser at The Coo from 5:30pm - 8:00pm. 

The fun includes a buffet dinner, activities, giveaways, chance drawings and crafty projects. All this and the company of fantastic people for just a $15 donation per person. F

ood is being donated from area restaurants and ALL money taken in will go to Relay for Life (Team Cootie Coo Creations). Space is limited to 25 people, so make your reservations and donations soon. Donations must be either cash or check (made out to the American Cancer Society). 

Everyone may want to bring a few extra dollars in order to buy chance drawing tickets and have the chance to win some great prizes - whoop whoop! There will also be a costume contest for those who are interested in participating. OMG, what a night this promises to be!!!

October Make N Takes

Here are the cards for the October Make N Takes. Participants can make TWO cards for a $5.00 donation to Relay for Life. Anyone wishing to make all THREE cards can do so for an additional $2.00, making it a $7.00 donation to Relay - whoop whoop - the fun/fundraising never stops at The Coo! Unfortunately, those of you who have not signed up yet waited too long to snag a spot for Friday night. However, there are still openings for Saturday morning 10am - 1:00pm. Remember, pre-registration is a must! Bwahaha...happy almost Halloween!

Round Robin Abstract Painting

Round Robin Abstract Painting with Sue Monaghan at The Coo...what a fun day for all!!! Once Sue convinced everyone they could relinquish "ownership" of the paintings they started, the class was suddenly stress free and everyone laughed and had a grand ole time! Check out the finished projects!

Savannah Bee Company

The shipment from Savannah Bee Company has arrived!! Everyone will be happy to hear that Orange Blossom liquid hand soap is back in stock - whoop whoop - along with Blackberry Rose, so now would be a good time to stock up on these fabulous products (so maybe you will stop washing your hands so often in the shop - bwahaha) so you can use them at home now and through the holidays! 

There are THREE new flavors of honey in stock: Wildflower, Sourwood and Black Sage and they are YUMMY! Also new to The Coo is hand made Honey (bar) Soap. Honey-Tasting

OMG!!!! Mark your calendars!!! On Sunday, April 2, there will be a Honey-Tasting event at The Coo from 1:00pm - 5:00pm. Come in and sample various flavors of honey, test some personal care products, and enjoy some light refreshments. What fun and at no charge...how can you beat that???? Whoop whoop - love me some Coo!
