Mixed Media Journal Jam: Tea Party at Cootie Coo

In our first art journaling get-together, we'll get cozy with a tea or coffee-themed page.  Acrylic paints, collage, and India ink pens are some of the tools we'll use to create this lovely addition to our journals. The example is done in the 5 X 8 size Visual Journal.

Journals are not provided but the Strathmore journals may be purchased at a discount for the jam.

The group size is limited to 10 people. Registration is mandatory.

Dylusions Journal class

Don't miss this...

Terry is offering Part 2 of her Dylusions Journal class on Sunday, April 13. She invites you to come play with the fantastic Dylusions Spray Inks and create a "unique" and "original" journal spread. You will use sprays with stencils and as paint as you explore various ways of using these vibrant inks alongside the fun mix and match Dylusions stamps.

Cootie Coo Craziness Update

A few of the classes are almost full, but there are still several slots open (in numerous classes) if you have not yet registered. Registration for Cootie Coo Craziness will close on Wednesday, MARCH 26, so be sure to contact me by then if you would like to register for anything.

There are plenty of openings in the evening activities and many of you will regret NOT attending when you find out what all the participants received as giveaways! Friday evening is a PIZZA PARTY which includes 4 hours of fun Make N takes, great giveaways and prizes. The cost is $25. Saturday night is a wonderful buffet spread followed by three round-robin stations which will seem as if you are getting 3 classes in one. The giveaways and prizes here will set your feet a' dancing! The cost is $50.

T-shirts are in and participants have the choice of a pale pink, kiwi green, sandstone or calming blue "Doing the Coo" T. Just one week until the real fun begins!!

New Class for Cootie Coo Craziness

Just wanted to get a notification about the upcoming Cootie Coo Craziness Weekend, March 28 - 30. A new class has been added, FABRIC GARLAND, and it will be taught by Sandy Flaitz on Sunday, March 30, at the Woman's Club from 1:30pm - 5:00pm.

Gifting on a Dime: Decorative gift box with handmade cards

Create four handmade greeting cards (Thank you, Thinking of you, Birthday and Friendship cards all made with the delightful NEW Graphic 45 paper Botanical Tea) using techniques learned at Saturday evening’s “Endless Embellishments” session (however, attending Endless Embellishments is not a pre-requisite) and a decorative gift box for these cards that you can give as a sweet gift or keep for yourself! We will be using the Envelope Punch Board to design the decorative box and some embellishments. You won’t believe how easy it is to make these beautiful and creative gifts. Bring your Envelope Punch Board if you have one and your imagination.

Endless Embellishments

Take your time creating unique flowers as embellishments, using gathered fabric, Beadazzles, Dylusions-sprayed fabric and Washi tape. Pretty impressive, don't you think?

Create mini masterpieces as you discover the world of altered puzzle pieces!
