Art Warrior Dolls #2

OMG!!! The second Art Warrior Doll workshop was a hoot because some of the dolls had painted faces this time (the finished products from the Saturday Art Warrior Doll Face Painting class)...I thought the results could not be better than the first Art Warrior Doll workshop, but lo and behold...look what these ladies managed to create!! Celeste Beck and Merri McKenzie are THE BOMB!!!! Your students are so happy and pleased with the results and had a FAB time to boot! Wonderment and Patchouli abound at The Coo - whoop whoop!!

Relay for Life Fundraiser

We had our first fundraiser for Relay for Life Sunday at The Coo. We did not have a big turn-out, but boy did we have fun! None of us realized the work that went into making these "cheap ass shoes", so no one finished, even though we worked on them for FOUR hours! Of course, we talked a lot, laughed a lot, ate a little and just had a wonderful afternoon! The best treat of all were the Witch's Shoe cookies that Carrie Smola ("I made that") donated for our event. Check them out in the picture below - they were adorable and delicious!!!!

Flat Project / Casserole Carrying Basket

On either October 14 or 15, a Flat Project/Casserole Carrying Basket Workshop is being offered at The Coo. If you need a flat, roomy basket, this is the one! It is large enough to hold 12 x 12 scrapbook paper, the paper cases for 12x12 paper, a stack of quilt blocks…or even a large casserole dish or two pies, for those gatherings that are so prevalent this time of year. With a rectangular hoop handle in the center, it is sturdy enough for some heavy loads, too.

The fee for this workshop is $65.00. Class starts at 10:00am and may take until 4:30 or so. Seating is limited to 5 students this time since this is a really big basket.

Stop by Cootie Coo Creations at 280 NE First Avenue, High Springs, Florida, or call 386-454-8008, to register for any of these classes.

October 14 or 15, 2016
10 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
