Come get an early start on your holiday cards by spending a fun day at The Coo making 12 different Christmas cards AND feasting on pizza – yum!!!!!! Class size will be limited, but not the fun nor the pizza. All materials and supplies provided as well as pizza and beverages all for just $35. Ho Ho Ho!!! It should be a jolly good time!

The newest collection, Lost in Paradise, will be used to create amazing cards that just may be hard to part with. Participants will receive FOUR packets and some fun embellishments to go along with the cards. Space is limited to 8 students per session, so register early if you want to join in the fun and excitement. Class fee is $30 (plus tax).

An assortment of washi tape and other embellishments may be used to enhance the final product. The end result may be so amazing that it will be difficult to part with. All material and supplies provided. Class fee is $20.

SISTERHOOD OF SURVIVORS                       

1:00pm – 5:00pm   

This is something NEW at The Coo that will run through the summer and perhaps become a regular calendar activity. All cancer survivors (those who have won the battle and/or those who are still fighting) are invited to attend the second gathering of the Sisterhood of Survivors to celebrate creativity and life itself. There is no charge for this activity, but space is limited so please register early if you want to secure a spot! There will be a fun activity for this month and all materials, as well as light refreshments, will be provided. Call (386-454-8008) or message me if you are a survivor and would like to attend.

MAKING JOURNALS FOR GIFTS

Are you a creative person who likes to keep a supply of gifts on hand so you are never caught empty-handed? If so, “Making Journals for Gifts” might be just the class for you! Join Sharon for a fun and productive time of creating simple yet personalized journals that anyone would be thrilled to receive. An assortment of journals (both in size and design but all bound with a coil binding) will be available as projects and everyone should go home with an assortment of four or five journals.

BOOKBINDING WORKSHOP

Join Nadia Peattie for some bookbinding fun as she teaches yet another stitch the LONG stitch, to those loyal fans of hers. 

Workshop is being offered on Sunday, March 31, from 1:30pm – 5:00pm. Class fee is $35.

RELAY FOR LIFE MARCH BIRTHDAYS/POTLUCK FUNDRAISER

Even though our RFL event is on Friday, March 22^nd, The Coo never really stops its fundraising for Relay. Each month the birthdays of Friends and Family of The Coo will be celebrated and acknowledged with a RFL fundraiser of some sort. So everyone who has a birthday in March is welcome to join in the fun as The Coo hosts another Pot Luck/Covered Dish Fundraiser on Sunday, March 24th, starting at 5:30pm. 

If you wish to participate (this celebration is open to everyone, not just the people with birthdays in March), all you need to do is let Sharon know you will be attending, bring a dish/plate of food to be shared and make a $10 donation to Relay for Life. There will be time for socializing, eating and having some good old fashion fun!
