Mixed Media Artists
A group of mixed media “junkies” who gather on a monthly basis to work on mixed media techniques and ongoing projects. Those who would like to give the group a try are welcome to join (you must make arrangements with Sharon), but everyone must take a turn at teaching a technique at some point. The charge is $5.00 a month.

Terry Peattie conducts these monthly workshops, which currently consist of two groups (USUALLY one group meets on the third Sunday, the other on the fourth Saturday of each month) with 10 members each. Each month a 2-page spread project is presented and taught involving various mixed media techniques. Those who are not regular members of the fixed groups are able to sign up to attend as a “guest” in the event that a regular member is unable to attend. Please contact Sharon or Terry if you are interested in signing up to have your name added to attend (possibly) as a guest.  The cost is $25 each month.

Heart-handle Wall Basket Class
w/Katie

So sweet, and with choice of colors for the accent! This basket makes up quickly and is a real standout, with the carved heart handle.


With any basket, the size will be a rough estimate, as the final product depends on the weaving and decisions of the basket maker. This basket is about 7-8 inches across, and about 7-8 inches deep, plus the handle.

The Heart Handled Wall Basket class is $30.00, Saturday, February 1st. Class fee includes all materials, instruction, and use of tools. Starts at 10:00 AM, and may take until 4:00 or so. Seating is limited. Contact Sharon at Cootie Coo Creations to register.

Just dress comfortably (bring a towel or apron or borrow one of the Coo's aprons), call in advance to secure your seat, and expect to have some fun and take home a nice basket that you will be happy to show off! We will probably all go out to a nearby restaurant for a lunch break.

Registration and Cancellation Policies of Cootie Coo Creations LLC

The teaching staff at Cootie Coo Creations works hard to provide the best workshops and classes possible. Unfortunately, the past few months have brought an unprecedented number of last minute cancellations from students who have registered for classes. Because of the time and money that goes into preparing packets for students and the expectation of teachers for a predetermined number of students, it has become necessary for The Coo to establish and put in writing the registration and cancellation policies that will go into effect on Thursday, April 25, 2019.

REGISTRATION:
Students are encouraged to pre-register for classes at The Coo. However, the registration process is not complete nor is the seat in the class guaranteed until payment for the class has been received. Payment for classes can be made by check (either in person or sent through the mail) or by cash (in person at the shop) or by credit card (in person at the shop). Once the class has been paid for, the seat is guaranteed and everything is good to go.
There is a minimum of three registered students required for a class to be held. In the event that this minimum number is not met, the instructor has the option of holding the class in spite of the class not having met the required number of registered students OR cancelling the class. In the event that a class is cancelled due to insufficient number of registered students, the entire amount of money paid will be returned to the registered students or a credit will be issued.

CANCELLATION:
In the event that a registered student cancels his/her registration for a particular class at least 72 hours prior to the meeting of the class, all money paid will be refunded to the registered student or a credit will be issued.
In the event that a registered student cancels his/her registration for a particular class with fewer than 72 hours prior to the meeting of the class, all money paid by the registered student will be forfeited. In this case scenario, the registered student may “gift” the class to a friend and inform The Coo of the change OR the registered student may try to find someone to take his/her place and seek payment from that person. Any such exchanges will be handled through the given individuals (including transfer of funds) and NOT by the shop, Cootie Coo Creations. The shop must be notified of such an exchange in order for the exchange to be possible.
